Re-wilding
I love referring to Aries as the cavewoman of the zodiac. She has a wild untameable quality about her that, in a pinch, will bite your face off, club you with her bravado and drag you off by the hair like a tonight’s dinner.
As the first sign of the zodiac, her fearless fire compels us to leap into the flames of new life. She’s upfront, forward and ready to try anything new. Like her symbol, the lamb, she has the innocence of the newborn and would truly be sorry for any hurt her act first, think later approach to life may have caused.
This Full Moon I suggest you tap into what your solo projects are, how you are initiating and going after what you want, what lights your primal fire. Look around you now and notice what the light of this full moon reveals for you. What is impelling you to start up?
RE-master
re-formating your formative relationship (ie, the one with your parents presumably) will re-write your current and future relationships. El Captain Saturn is in a tight jam between this full moon and the opposing Sun in Libra. You’ll be feeling restrictions like the brake is on while your pedal is to the metal – to the smell of burning rubber, ensuing tension from this square aspect will be felt as frustration and tension- it will help boil up old issues that you can now face and master.
Question: Where and how are you holding yourself back and what action do you need to take to dislodge any stuckness?
In this case, your current maturity provides a container to that inner two-year-old whose needs may have been ignored or restricted. The resulting wounding will be the same issues causing you pain in relationships now, especially around areas of asserting yourself.
Unconditional love
At the heart of it, we all want to be loved for who we are, to know its ok, that we are accepted and acceptable. The Moon is conjunct Chiron, the planet that represents our wounding as well as healing. Sidled up to the Moon this suggests the potential for some emotional healing.
Exercise: Make a commitment with yourself, your partner or close friend to let you know, even when you’re triggered, that you are those things- and offer the same back. When you’re in that vulnerable place its ground zero for healing to occur. Seed a new story into the feeling. Draw on the polarity of the Sun & Mercury in relationship-oriented Libra to balance with kind words, what you may need to hear now. Want to be held like a baby while you cry like one? It’s ok, just do it – be reparented with warmth. Let yourself be loved, and love yourself – unconditionally.
The area this full moon falls in your birth chart indicates where healing around assertiveness, independence etc that will be both triggered and taking place. It will indicate where you’ll be taking initiative and ready to blaze a new trail. Check yours at birthchart. Or book a session with me for help understanding your game plan at readings
