People don’t have to like you, agree with you or share your opinion, and that’s ok. You can return the favour and still enjoy the tea, hit of tennis and the best this month has to offer.
You can be the ripest, juiciest peace in the world, and there’s still going to be someone who hates peaches.
~Classic Libra, Dita Von Teese
Since Venus is the ruler of Libra, let’s have a Venusian month. Have you noticed the various flavors of Venus and the Sun as they travel through signs?
I’ve been focused on forecasting through astrology with this monthly podcast episode I record with Tony, and two weekly bite-sized horoscopes I write for Glamour and News.com.au. I’ve also been sharing a weekly re-cap on my IG so I’ve been noticing how the weekly placements have been unfolding.
I’ve had my eye on the sky for years and paid special attention to the lunar cycle and signs as it passes through, however, my career has doubled down on forecasts so much I’m noticing even more. I’ve noticed that the clothes I buy are the flavor of whatever sign is hosting Venus. Leo season met with frustration as I couldn’t find the show stopper I visualized and decided I’ll have to hire a seamstress and design my own. It was the same last year. Looking for the grand statement in a middle-of-the-road marketplace is no easy task.
Virgo season resulted in a utilitarian dried grass green dress made of something ecological, and Libra season is a silky set from Australian brand Camilla called ‘high tea’ all delicate blue and white porcelain inspired with flowers, plates, and pretty sparkles. Now Venus is in Scorpio as it’s currently the evening star and running ahead of the sign the Sun occupies. This past weekend I hired an outfit for an 80’s birthday and was the only goth among a slew of Jennifer Beals-esque flash dancers, shell suits, and aerobicisers. I went as Beetlejuice, the titular character from Tim Burtons 1988 film. Wait for Scorpio season to see the results as I’ll use the pix as my cover image.
Next up Venus will be pulling out all the stops in Sagittarius so this is going to be interesting! Listen in to this months Cosmic Eye Forecast as Tony explains why!
