Resident celebrity astrologer for Glamour magazine USA, (+ weekly horoscope column) Montgomery B.A. (Hons) is a professional consulting astrologer based in Australia and author of Astro Power: a Simple Guide to Prediction and Destiny for the Modern Mystic, Star Power: A Simple Guide to Astrology for the Modern Mystic and Cosmic Power: Ignite Your Your Light, a Simple Guide to Sun Signs for the Modern Mystic. Aimed at empowerment, and enlightenment, Montgomery’s work navigates practical essentials with grounded cosmic intel. Currently, I’m the resident Astrologer at Glamour U.S with a weekly horoscope (since mid-2019), launched a horoscope column for News.com.au, and am a former resident astrologer for Whimn Magazine (which closed in June, you can find some of those articles housed in Body+Soul Magazine) – Launched The Cosmic Eye Monthly Forecast for Astrology University Podcast which I co-anchored from 2019 through to 2023, returning with the occasional guest appearance. My work has appeared in Vogue U.S, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Time Out London, Refinery29, Vice Broadly, The Fashion Journal, Traveller (Easy Jet Inflight Magazine), The Kit C.A, Bloom Mag, C & The Moon and more. As resident Astrologer, I launched a new and full moon Luna scope for Lunae Sparkling, Jan 2023, on the new moon in Aquarius.
I’m proud to say my books Star Power, Cosmic Power, and most recently, Astro Power, Published by Quadrille, have generated over a million dollars in sales internationally. Art Museums like the Guggenheim N.Y have sold them + MoMA London – And stores from Anthropologie to Urban Outfitters.

My formal studies include Astrology, Graphic Design, Fashion & Textile Design Hons, Creative & Script Writing, Transpersonal Counselling, and various effective yet gentle psychotherapist. With five planets in Sagittarius, I’m a multi-passionate-multi-hyphen lover of casting the net wide and connecting the dots. With mystical Neptune and expansive Jupiter conjunct my Sag Sun + Mars in artistic Pisces, I identify as a creative person obsessed with the numinous my entire life. When not stargazing, I can be found researching, reading, doing yoga, listening to my inner voice, and raising consciousness.
I teach, write, podcast, and counsel clients, to pass on the gifts of astrology, eastern philosophies, and change strategies that have helped me so much in my evolution and immeasurably in understanding, appreciating, and accepting myself and others.
Australian by birth, gypset by nature, I LOVE traveling: the 3rd eye-opening experience & inspiring people met when I’m out of daily routines are essential to growth and life! Currently living by the beach in Burleigh, Queensland, known as the Sunshine State, I’ve been making the most of the stunning natural environment to stay grounded.
Empowering astrology starts here. My mission is to raise astrology out of the dark ages, shake off the misogyny, and deepen + rebrand for the modern mystic.
To say I have a feminist agenda would be an understatement. Let’s ditch the gender bias/gender roles and language in astrology and life already – or mix them up because representation is everything! Most people have to see it to be it or to recognize qualities or traits, like the usually gendered (or racial/ethnic/age) image you see when you think of a professor, beauty blogger, boss, or caretaker. Planets, like job titles, colors, or any other thing or concept, don’t have a biological sex/gender; people do. So let’s get creative rather than roll out and perpetuate or reinforce tired old sexist stereotypes and tropes.
How do we do that exactly? Rather than use gender as a shorthand, say what you mean, eg, strong, sensitive, active, receptive; use your words, and they’ll have more meaning.
The current wave of women rising, power shifting, and Queer/Sapphic representation has me lit. Through my work and life, I aim for enlightenment, liberation, and moving past labels that separate, to the oneness that unites us all, balanced with essential boundaries for everyday life.
